Professional geological activities

1990-1999: Collaboration with several geological studies on hydrogeology and geotechnics:

  • -Laboratory shear strength tests and executive procedures to determine the soils index parameters.
  • -Field experience related to geotechnical and hydro-geological problems

Expertise:

hydrogeological and chemical characteristics of the aquifers

  • -Well pumping tests of aquifers;
  • -Monitoring net planning for water table;
  • - Field and laboratory analysis of groundwater;
  • - Geochemical and hydro-geological interpretation of groundwater within the Northern Latium volcanic region.
  • -Geostatistics application to the interpretation of water table morphology.
  • -Treatment of chemical and physical data by statistical approach (Principal Component Analysis)

Expertise:

hydrological  and chemical properties of soils

  • -Field and laboratory tests to determine hydraulic saturated conductivity;
  • -Laboratory determination of physical (bulk density, rock fragment content, texture, aggregate stability with turbidimetric methodology) and chemical characteristics of soils (procedure for isolating soil organic matter fractions, nitrogen content).
